I too am disappointed at the lack of coverage on ITV's channels of the U20 world championship. The fact the tournament is in Georgia may or may not be part of ITV's thinking. It should not be, as this is a developing tournament playerwise, and we can see future talent for the first time.

I also just wonder how Sky sports feel, at losing coverage to ITV, only to find out there is less tournament coverage on tv than the last time. ITV trumpeted their winning of these rights, the womens rugby world cup rights, and retaining the RWC rights.

Let's look though at things more deeply. ITV has lost the FTA highlights of the Aviva Premiership to Channel 5. It has decided to only show the semi finals and finals of the U20 RWC. I'm very worried that the womens rugby world cup is going to go down the same road as well. My message to ITV, why can't we have the rugby union?

Agree its disappointing however I think as the Women's Rugby World Cup is in Ireland is going to get full coverage plus it won't be clashing with any other Sports coverage that ITV is showing. World Rugby obviously decided to throw in the Women's & U20s Tournament with the next 2 RWC ITV are covering and ITV took the opportunity but ITV already have a long standing rights agreement with the French Open. It is disappointing ITV couldn't find a space on ITV3 or the ITV Sport website to cover this.

Eurosport Player content at present ....

Eurosport 1
Eurosport 2
16 individual Roland Garros Court feeds
2 Snooker feeds from Riga
2 Round of 16 matches from the U20 FIFA World Cup in Korea

22 in total ,,, Impressive.

Just a shame it's been removed from Samsung TVs, XBoxes and Amazon Fire in recent months (though now has been added to Amazon channels but seemingly requires a seperate subscription). What I don't get is why the player is still on Samsung TVs even though it hasn't worked since before the US Open.

The new version on AppleTV would seem to be too swish for Smart TV interfaces, which are far too clunky with apps. It utilises the touch pad at the top of the ATV4 remote extensively.

Meanwhile ICC Trophy Cricket -
Sky Sports seem to be using the international feed augmented with video inserts, quite strange for a UK based tournament on Sky to not have their usual graphics set deployed.

Common for ICC tournaments who always have a singular feed these days.

ICC Trophy BBC Highlights introduced by Jonathan Agnew of Test Match Special commentators used were those heard on Sky, presumably on the ICC feed, unusual to hear Nasser Hussain and Shane Warne on the BBC though.

Yes the commentary is a world feed for all ICC tournaments from World Cup to World T20, they use cricket broadcasters worldwide so usually you get to hear the likes of Nasser Hussain and Shane Warne on BBC and the only time you would of seen or heard the face/voice of Free to Air Cricket since 1999 Mark Nicholas on Sky (although he isn't involved this year for the first time)

Here is the full list of commentators:

Is it Sunset & Vine who are 'host' producers of the coverage for the ICC?

That may explain why the on screen graphics are very 'BT Sport' in font and style.
Moov are the graphics company responsible, presumably?

Nope, it's Alston Elliott who have designed and implemented the graphics.

While Sky often recolour their normally blue graphics for different tournaments/sports, they are unusually recolouring their graphics by team for the Lions tour - Red for the Lions, black for the NZ teams.

(though I recall a few years ago, for a brief period, Sky had rugby-specific graphics that were similarly coloured in team colours. I don't recall them lasting too long.)

Sky NZ providing a clean feed to Sky UK for the match.

AE also work on some BT Sport productions, though both they and Moov are just implementing the in-house designed style.

And it looks suspiciously like Sky are using the Cricket studio in London, for the studio inserts on the Lions tour. It's the same desk as used in the cricket coverage, and the pundits are standing (Why do they have to stand?) around the table.

Also gives us a final final chance in the UK to hear Keith Wood as a pundit!

All SupeRugby coverage on Sky this morning coming clean from Fox Sports Australia - no top and tailing and no sign of any Sky graphics at all except on the opening titles.
