The biggest question BBC broadcast wise is whether David Dimbleby will be back to front the election (presumably alongside Huw Edwards). I say yes, but it will definitely be the LAST TIME.
A good week to have Eamonn & Ruth on this morning, handled very well, mainly by Eamonn. ITV News have stepped in now with Nina Hussain at the helm.
As This Morning was live and was handling things well is there part of the contract with ITN that they must take the ITV airwaves for breaking news of this circumstance?

ITV are a PSB, this morning's news should (and does) trump* everything else.
ITV have Chris Ship in the studio as the 'Former Deputy Political Editor' as he left this post a few weeks ago. Nina acknowledging that it's typical that he leaves the post just as the big news breaks. Maybe his new role will be put on hiatus during the General Election period.

This ELECTION is not set in stone and unless she get 2/3 backing in the commons its a no go. And it possible if labour votes it down .

Not at all presentation related, but it is unconceivable that even someone as incompetent as Corbyn would refuse to vote for a general election when in opposition.

* No pun intended
I understand that the news should takeover, but is the policy in place that ITN takeover (as the contracted news provider) when such news is announced rather than the news magazine programme continuing to carry the breaking news.
