Its super simple and thats not a bad thing. I like the set, its compact and seemingly cost conscious . There are some minor issues but its a good idea that needs some tweaks. Another example of a "red and white globe" set and presentation. Hopefully the Beeb will be brave enough to move their presentation forward one day.

Always love a Canadian morning show. BT is my favorite. I have to say the Global Morning Show Toronto.....what the heck is up with the set lighting. Everything is blue! Absolutely dreadful. Simply the worst lighting scheme ever!

I guess it's a bit hard to do with six timezones. For the US, Eastern Time is the main population center, so it makes sense to start schedules with that timezone. Canada is complicated, since Eastern is the most populous timezone, but Atlantic and Newfoundland time zones are ahead but more sparsely populated. They end up getting the short end of the stick simply because it makes more sense to cater schedules to Eastern Time. Throw in Central, Mountain, and Pacific provinces and it's kinda clear that a national breakfast program is pretty untenable.
Slightly odd how CTV's 'Your Morning' show isn't really national.
