Oh - I wonder when they disappeared then if they were added last year. 10-20 years ago the BBC World weather forecasts for North America were Fahrenheit based I'm sure. I thought that was always the case. Didn't know they'd switched them to Celsius. (Obviously Europe was always in Celsius)

I seem to remember it only lasted a few weeks last year, where it switched between Celsius and Farenheit on North America on the world forecasts, but it seemed to stop after a few weeks and went back to just Celsius, unless they started doing it again. At least that's what I noticed on the world weather during Outside Source, but it's a couple of months since I last watched it (been avoiding TV news for the sake of my blood pressure).

The BBC's vague maps and forecast indeed switches between Farenheit and Celcius for North America on BBC World. So vague...

What's vague about them ? No more vague than any other continent covered on the World weather ?

Presumably a reference to the lack of weather symbols on the map? Not that I think it's a valid criticism.

No not at all. Its the lack of actual information. Plus half the cities are missing and they descriptions of the forecast are vague. And they do forecasts for the cities right next to each other. And major population centers are ignored. "Summery showery, dark clouds move into the Southeast..." Meanwhile tornadoes and severe weather is occurring. Vague.

CNN Domestic has "relocated" their "Set" over the weekend. The area that had the large screen above the rear of the NY newsroom is out of shot and the "newswall" to the right is further down. Kinda hard to determine exactly the orientation from the previous location. Looks cramped. Seems like it shifted more to the right. The camera block is horrible. It all from an elevated position looking down.

Looks the same as usual on Brooke's Newsroom now. I think they just moved the desk to the right side for the early Newsroom and perhaps Early Start as well?

Good Looking out. Never seen it from that position before. They are definitely in a holding pattern studio-wise. Such a mess.

The one time I've seen it look half-decent is on Early Start, where the screen above the newsroom shows an early-morning skyline.

The set up, configuration you are referring to with Berman and Harlow is new. There is a screen installed the right of Harlow that is static, much like the screens installed for Prime Time Justice as seen here.. https://youtu.be/tBgi6k1S-7o

Static screen to the right of harlow seen here. *

This set is versatile and has moving parts. The LED screens are all on wheels and moveable.

The desk itself has two wings and can be configured in multiple formats. The left wing is used for Berman and Harlow's show. The right wing is used for most other shows.

Reliable Sources has an entirely different configuration again.
