Also another thing is that most of the build-up looked pre-recorded to me.
Makes sense.
That 4 segment is suspiciously prominent in the split screen shot!
EDIT : A consequence of the darts being on C4 this week is that Countdown isn't on. But that's no worry, as you can play along by trying to get 501 by getting one in the top and 8 from anywhere else
Mod edit for the hard of understanding: *The above is a joke* do not take it literally
Also, I think to do a 9 dart 501, you finish on double 12, or double 18.
The postponed European Champions Cup Pool A match, between Racing 92 and Munster was played today. This game was meant to have been played in October 2016, and shown live on Sky Sports, but due to the death of the Munster head coach on the morning of the match, was postponed. Todays rescheduled match was shown on Sky Sports 1, but given the reason it was postponed in the first place, attracted very little, if any, pre match trailers on Sky.
I knew it was humour, or at least an attempt at it.
This is why I despair at TV Forum these days.
Now back to World Of Sport!

Only seen Channel 4 coverage of Lakeside yesterday and must say I was impressed, over the last few years the BBC coverage was good to be honest it needed a bit of a revamp and they did this yesterday adding the likes of Paul Nicholson who was impressive and Rob Walker is always enthusiastic and a good host. The commentary was also good with Vassos Alexander, John Rawling & Paul Nicholson yesterday afternoon and I gather the excellent Jim Proudfoot was on BT Sport last night. The only thing I would like would be to get Chris Mason in the commentary box as well and I wish Channel 4 or More 4 had late night highlights like the BBC had. But so far so good and whether it's BDO or PDC bring on another week of darts.

Really?
I've just watched the build-Up to Sunday's action on 4.
Again, pre-recorded build up (Rob Walkers big watch gave the game away)
There's no coverage sponsor. You'd have thought they would have wanted to get £50,000 - £100,000 back. But BT Sport don't have one either, so I'm thinking it could be some odd Lakeside clause.
They've not bothered to design their own on screen graphics - or put the '4' on the BT Sport set - there is enough space.
Surprised no-one put a call into Whisper Films to get the 4 logo'ed grey F1 Mic wind/pop shields for use. Unbranded mics for a sporting event in this day and age is very unusual.
It's like Channel 4 were caught by surprise by when the event started, and had to come up with something quick.
First time I'm looking at the channel4 coverage of the darts, are the graphics the same for both broadcasters? I need to find a foreign channel which is showing to figure out what's been used as the world feed.

Yep both Channel 4 & BT Sport are using the same graphics

You are nit picking about pre recorded build up and sponsors etc. Yes it would be nice to have 4 graphics and branded microphones and maybe I am easily pleased but I am enjoying the coverage
