I noticed formerly itv national weather presenter Alex Hill on STV Weather earlier today too. I don't know if this is a new regular arrangement or just a one off.

He was also on during Christmas week as 5 Weather now comes from the Met Office studio in Exeter.

Alex first appeared last year (October IIRC) - he is freelance, as is Jo Farrow. I assume he will only fill in when both Sean and Jo are unavailable.

Amanda Houston is taking a sabbatical from ITV Weather this week until March. It will be interesting to see either a new face taking on the role permanently or just various faces ( for ITV Anglia). This is on the back of Aidens departure for Met Office in December.
