Not sure if anyone mentioned this, but CBBC has revealed their Christmas pres.

The idents are the same - like, the Glowstick ident has a tint, with some of the glow lines from the original ident covered with sparkles, a Christmassy music with bells, organs etc. And the formed logo looks like something made in MS Paint.

Not sure where you and Brekkie are buying your magazines but I think it's around £4-5, closer to 4 I think. Pretty good value for a decent publication.

It should be the price of two single issues, so £4.60 for the Christmas issue.

A decent publication which you've generally read by the date the listings begin, and with Christmas TV not being what it once was the Christmas listings magazines aren't as necessary as they once were either.

I'll probably go for Total TV Guide - a decent publication itself but at a slightly easier to swallow cost.

According to "The Official Christmas Radio Times Countdown And Christmas TV Thread 2016" on Digital Spy the price is £4.50.

With Christmas falling on a Sunday this years edition runs from 17-30 December so if you want New Year listings you'll need to buy the next edition.

For anyone that cares here's the price of the previous 10 years of Christmas issues:
2015: £4.00
2014: £3.60
2013: £3.20
2012: £2.80
2011: £2.50
2010: £2.40
2009: £2.20
2008: £2.10
2007: £2.00
2006: £1.99

I wonder what the price will increase to in January, £2.60?

I recommend the £1 12 issue trial to get a cheap copy of the Christmas edition. I thought after six years they would stop allowing me to get it but they're seemingly not bothered.

Tbh I usually read it for everything but the listings.

Wondered what they were going to do this year. I'm sure in previous years where New Year falls over a weekend, we've had a 16 day Christmas issue (Sat 17th - Sun 1st) and then the New Year week issue, then repeats the listings for NY Eve/Day.

Fantasia was actually shown in 2013, I recall watching it before we had our Christmas Eve dinner.
