As Denton has suggested - bland and completely uninspired. Just as with Julian, he's been churning out the same stock phrases since he started in 1993.

Thay was the problem with UTV as a whole, it was stuck in a time capsule. It has now been dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century and about time too. They haven't fully got there with a full on ITV identity but hopefully that isn't too far away. Gillian, Julian et all are relics of the old style and they jar horribly with the new branding. I highly doubt that ITV haven't noticed this and the plan is to fully go to an ITV identity and no more relics.

Relics?! How lovely to describe good folk that the viewers across NI have enjoyed for several years.

But that's what they are... Confused

Remnants of an old era who don't fit in with a new and more modern approach to the channel. They haven't changed their style in decades, not 'years'.
