First, with the WSB graphic it wasn't live. Their editors asked for a recorded stare for about 30-40 seconds to make it look live. Second, many of those boxes were recorded early in the morning as it was still dark out (apparently reporters were still in the field). Third, it does go to show how impressive their news team is even though it was incredibly ridiculous.
They apparently used 13 ENG trucks, 4 LiveU units and the rest were done with iPhones or other mobile devices.
It was a severe storm for the Atlanta region even though people up north may laugh at the coverage and standstill it caused. Apparently it was two inches of snow and ice that caused motorists to be stuck on the highways for up to 30 hours and forcing students to sleep overnight.

hahah what the hell is that
WSB loves a team coverage graphic. They know its a joke. But they roll is out whenever they have snow (which is rare) in metro Atlanta. Its a bit of fun. But it also shows how many reporters they have in the field at the same time. So whilst its kinda silly its also impressive. LOL.
