Family Feud has some great silly/rude answers [albeit to some suggestive questions], I just hope they leave the show unedited. If the uptight Americans can handle hearing mild swearing on TV in daytime, surely we can?

They can't edit answers out the show wouldn't make sense.

Are they seriously going to start showing Family Feud?

Isn't it basically just Family Fortunes in America?

I'm also aware of it from animated GIFs and viral videos. Could that be a factor or am I the exception?

In the same way that The Chase USA is just The Chase in America, yes. But it didn't stop them commissioning it.

Why, though? I don't understand the appeal.

More episodes, more income.

Steve Harvey is a pretty good host from what I've seen, other than when announcing winners of beauty pageants.

Finders Keepers what I think is Series 5 now airing on Challenge. First guest starts of the new series PJ & Duncan I remember these in-show graphics from first time round, with the bouncing balls clock.

That'll be before they started their career of winning National TV Awards!

One of the benefits of archive TV being aired is that a lot of it has ended up as lovely little time capsules with references to other stuff we all know and remember. Warrior from Gladiators was on the second episode of today's Finders Keepers, back in the day when Gladiators was new enough to still be a novel draw on Saturday night ITV, and the third episode features former athlete Roger Black!
