I used the W for two reasons: firstly it comes to a point which makes it more 'transmittery' (to coin a term). But also it was a cheeky way of making the W more prominent to hark back to the original W idents of Westcountry.

I like these. I must admit, I always thought the first T of westcountry would be the transmitter, and not the w, but it works quite well.
