Yesterday was a busy day here in Brazil, not just politically, but also on the television newscasts themselves.
RedeTV!, which has been making a massive improvement on their news product over the past few months, relaunched their newscasts, with a late afternoon newsmagazine (which isn't as crime-focused as their competitors) and their main newscast, RedeTV! News , moving to 7:15pm BRT (from their previous timeslot of 9:50pm) and with the addition of a new co-anchor.
And SBT finally switched their national newscasts to HD (they were the last major network to do so)... well, mostly. Studio shots are in SD widescreen, with everything else in HD.
