Good, that means Radio 1, 2 and 4 on DAB will remain at the just about acceptable 128k stereo this week, and not be slashed back. Just saying.

The person scheduling it can be the person who runs the Selector or Powergold logs for Radio 2.

The non automated bits can be done self op.

These people should be on a salary and certainly shouldn't be being paid extra.

And then you'll be back complaining how amateurish it sounds, because so many of the Radio 2 talent have little or no experience of self producing.

It's a shame R2 Eurovision isn't going ahead this year, but if it means R2 listeners can listen to Eurovision on DAB at 128kbps, then it's a fair compromise.

Trust me, there's not going to be many viewers. The shows airs at 3PM on Logo TV which as of February 2015 reaches only 44% of US households.

This is such a shame and I hope it's not setting a precedent. The interval act should be to showcase talent from the host country, not be a tacky plug for anyone that wants to show up. (I'm fully aware that the song has Swedish writers but it's a tenuous link and this could be the beginning of International stars using the interval slot for promotional purposes).

I'd be interested to know how long this has been planned for. I wonder if this has been thrust upon SVT by the EBU. I can't help feel that JT will be very poorly matched to a show that will celebrate in a nudge, nudge way that certain thing that is Eurovision. If it transpires that the real reason for the voting changes was to accommodate this performance then I think there'll be an uproar from fans.
