Dalek, for crying out loud, you're ignoring a crucial factor that Bradley doesn't match with the audience The X Factor has. Just because you've hosted a show at the Palladium doesn't mean you should host a show popular with Radio 1 listeners.

With that logic, Sean Lock should host it because he's funny and he's played the O2 to an even bigger audience.

Bradley Walsh has hosted shows aimed at younger audiences before - Keep It In The Family for one. Where does this notion that he's not aimed at people who watch the X Factor come from?

Keep It In The Family is not aimed at the same audience!

Not the same no but still a young audience on ITV1.

It really isn't. It doesn't alienate them but it's by no means as focused on the younger demographic as TXF is. I don't know how else to explain unless you somehow become an executive at ITV, put Bradley at the helm and watch how many viewers and how much revenue you lose. Commercial television requires logic, not just stuff you want to happen.

The X Factor has a new logo for this year, as posted on their social media accounts

I think 'new logo' is stretching it somewhat. They often post stylised versions of the logo which end up being nothing more than a new backdrop for the auditions.

This is quite reminiscent of the original opening titles however:

Here's the original source of that image. For anyone interested it was posted on the X Factor's instagram account.

The new graphics are looking good so far, it has become dated and this looks like a nice change.

Don't know if anyone has seen this already but thought it worth posting...

I know different countries do different things but this looks pretty good. Very much doubt they'll use these graphics over here, especially now we have a new logo.

I like the golden scheme and overall branding of that Ukraine series. The X wobble makes it feel a little cheap to me though I understand the idea behind it.

What they have done right that our series has not over the past few years is to rebrand everything.
Every year the UK version seems to have new banners or a slightly adjusted logo for the auditions that is then missing from the rest of the presentation and joins the three different font choices used for varying elements.

The set is showing it's age though. It desperately needs a revamp. I reckon something based on the Eurovision 2014 set (Copenhagen) would work really well.

The other thing they need to do is go back to a 3 person panel so Deadlock is gotten rid of. Then either the neutral judge has the deciding vote, or the judge with two acts in the singoff does basically. I think it would give a lot more energy and tension to the show when currently it feels like 9 times out of 10 they go to Deadlock rendering the sing-off useless.

Also, drop the singoff from the quarter finals. I know it gives producers more control but it would make the whole process at least SEEM more democratic. The last series was embarrassing in that respect.
