Yep - from what I heard South Today didn't opt-out of the network quick enough! In fact, they were so slow, you saw the ident, titles and part of the first report before it crashed back into the (already started) South Today.

I expect that soon on digital you will be able to get your regional news, its something that has to be looked at with ITV soon to be joining Sky Digital.
People with Digital, what is one UK Today? Its a regional news programme for the whole of the UK, what sort of things are in it?

ONdigital viewers get their normal local regional programme.
SKY Digital viewers get 'UK Today' - a collection of reports from around the UK newsrooms.
The BBC are continually looking into ways to get your digital region onto DSat but until the uptake of Sky is much higher, it seems a waste of money. People can still of course (and will be able to for a few years yet) be able to 'press TV and button 1'

Cheers,
Asa
