That's off-air as well.
oh right, well as pointed out by someone a while ago on the forum, itv plc ancillary teletext services were discontinued last night. in central land there is an explanation on p699
What's replacing them? Some sort of "Teletext on ITV" service similar to Ch4? Pity they've gone, the programme info and listings pages were better than the BBC/TeleText listings...

Are the Teletext Ltd listings now PDC encoded? Or is the teletect VCR setup method considered obsolete now?

*cough* teletext is probably faster than itv.com, and better graphics .
Anyway... no doubt ITV Plc is on cutback mode again - how long will this last before ITV squashes it? My bet is in on the move to the MetroCentre studios.

Yup, here's the explanation on 'ITV1 London' as it's called now, carried on p600 and p699:

Well exactly 12 years to the day they've started they've closed down the service. I presume that Scottish TV, Grampian TV, UTV and Channel aren't affected by the closure.
Though IMO it leaves ITV without a back-up service to call their own, they've got Teletext on their channel but it is not owned by them, they've shut down the Ancillary service, ITV Text Plus was also closed down and IMO would have been an idea Digital replacement, and ITVi is not yet fully formed, though it is more commercial than Public Service.
