the "five" thread

Wow the capture's look really nice, bar the last one which just looks like a normal one. I like the idea of things forming the logo with the letters rather than the text coming on. Very well produced, and I can't wait to see more.
I also like the idea for the movie ident having the change of scene.

I can't wait to see them on air or online, and it gives me hope that a company may produce something decent for christmas, at least five usually do something new each year, I hope it will be along this pattern, and give us something nice like the Christmas 2001 idents, they were a work of art!

I personally hope this might (once they've got a whole load of new idents in this style) become a bit like bbc2's old 2-idents.

Yeah I see where you are going to link them together, and it's a clever idea to use, far better than the text forming, but to have the letters coming on.

Does anyone count the ident five use for their America's Finest strand as part of this? It's very good I feel.

I like that Movie one. I like how they've got good soundtracks to them as well.
Very well produced. As if five had these from Monday, and ITV came back with there lame attempt.

The thing is that the ITV1 ones are quite nice, and aren't that different from the last couple of looks, they are better than the 03-04 main graphic ident, but it's the fact that there's nothing else to this package. In 2002, 03 and 04 they've had the celeb idents to take up most of it.

I wish that they'd have used the squares more, perhaps with people idents, and use them in an imaginative why, just like five have done with their new batch.

Looking at some of the CiTV promotions, it's a same that Birmingham weren't given the chance to do the ITV1 idents.

Oh yes thats a good one too, I'll try dig some caps out for that, it's been used for at least 3 or 4 weeks that one, and the new movies ones were in use on Sunday, so i don't know exactly when the new idents were introduced, it may have been Monday and the movie ones started on Sunday as part of the "channel of the apes" strand. Theres also a few "Boxing Acadamy" idents floating around at the minute.
