STV News goes horribly wrong!

Who remembers this?

STV INSTALLED A NEW DIGITAL STUDIO AT COWCADDENS, IT WORKED FINE UNTIL 6:30 ON THE 30th NOVEMBER 1998.

I love that line. Basically "Sorry for the half hour of crap, but we couldn't stop halfway now, could we?"

That NOT the only time that has happened, it happened again in February 2000 when the new STV red look come in to use, by Wednesday there had to cut the news short and had to broadcast "edge of the lands" Strange thing was most of the phone calls were to ask what the replacement programme was.
