Solar eclipse

Solar eclipse this coming week, will Friday could we see any special pres?

Possibly, there's a special Stargazing Live programme 9am BBC1. They might just use Moon though.

Or quite likely Breakfast will just do a handover into the programme ?

Well if it's good enough for BBC2 they might as well use this:

Well they went to all that effort to create that Eclipse ident and then didn't even use it into the actual Eclipse coverage! What a waste!

Therefore it's overdue another showing!

It's only a partial eclipse, no point in making a song and dance about it.

It'd be nice but why would they bring back an ident that's been gone for 6 years for this one event?


A total eclipse with the red swirls and logo form-up would do the trick for a special ident, not exactly expensive or hard to achieve.

They could just show a picture of Bonnie Tyler from when she did Eurovision.

Someone else had that idea, during the 1999 eclipse VH1 showed 'Total Eclipse Of The Heart' on a loop for an hour

As a 40-something, it's a little nostalgic to see these characters appearing in the trail for Stargazing Live...

Why would they use Moon though? It's a solar eclipse...
