Not really, the caravan will probably act as the living room. For obvious reasons (ie the house being bulldozed) they physically can't film in the living room anymore.
I expect that like last year, once they reach the living room substitute (last year Dave & Denise's, this year the caravan) the old format will return.
Think Anthony is back this time though - but a bit worrying they've ventured out of the living room again.

Part of the Royale Family plot is that Dave & Denise are bad parents and get rid of the kids at every opportunity hence you don't see them much, if at all. I bet they are staying with Dave's parents or something similar in this special.

One thing that bugs me, where are Denise & David's children? From the previews, they're not in the car. It was the same with last years christmas special.

Plus one of the biggest complaints about last year's special [other than being slapstick] is that people don't want to see half a dozen extra cast members. They just want to see the main family, with the odd 2min cameo from the neighbours.
So it looks like they've took note, and just made this special with the key cast. Shame they've had to go shooting out the house again, but I'll give it a chance.

There's some clever shooting too. The camera never seems to be physically further away than the 4th wall (that you seldom see) would allow, so you get the sense of it being a real enclosed space.
Its also lit as if the grey daylight from the windows is the only source of light.
Its good. I expect most folks wouldn't have thought it was anything other than a real house.

A very convincing set, if I may say so.
