Yes! It's a craze that comes natrually to every devoted TV fan, and I've been doing it since, ooh, 1996... Not just RadioTimes, no, all the others too (TVTimes etc...) Plus, my mum's got an attick full of 80s magazines. Definately a favourite read on a rainy day!Razz:

Sadly I haven't got early 90s issues, coz my mum gave up when she didn't know where to put them all and I was a baby then (we had a flat until '96, and we're now in a proper 2 up 2 down - with an attick!) If anyone does still hold back issues from that era, please email them to me (providing you've got a scanner!). Or visa-versa, if you want anything from 1996-1999, I'll scan them to you free! I don't do it as often as before though, I've got bored with today's Gill Sans pages...

I'm certainly am a fan of the Radio Times, I have been since 1981 when I was just five years old, and have kept it every week without fail since 1986. I prefer the more old-fashioned style of Radio Times though; I think it has gone downhill a bit in the last ten years or so. See Radio Times Covers for more!

I like the newest look - the layout is easy to read, the films have their age ratings (other mags don't), but the clock's aren;t in 24hr - not helpful when ytou want to program your video (which is in 24hr - not that ican' convert Smile )

Next week's issue 4-10 August 2001 has a great cover design! I don't usually but the Radio Times but I think I might do this week, and keep the cover when I've finished with it!

This is about the best cover design I've seen in a long time!

What does the cover mean? What new and improved EastEnders? It's only getting an extra episode - or is it getting new titles or something?

Washing Powder = Soap (Get it?)
New & Improved = better plotlines

I understood the washing powder bit - the 'new and improved' went over my head! D'oh!

Well I preferred it in the days when they used to have covers like this (Christmas 1981):

Now that is quality.

Well, I think I'd prefer the 1981 price anyway!

Last years cost about £1.50 didn't it? TV Guides are expensive these days.
