BBC Oneness - idents and presentation

Excellent promo.

This is what the BBC should have gone for if they had pursued the idea of bringing people together.

Bring back generic idents no more people idents please

People/live action idents can be decent if the concept and execution is strong, in the same way that some purely graphical idents can look rather cheap.

i.e. France 2:

The TV2 one feels a little heavy-handed. You can imagine some people over here muttering the usual complaints of "political correctness" if the BBC attempted it, whereas the best trick to win people round is to make things a little more subtle. But it's a far better stab at something like Oneness than the BBC's "randoms look bemused at a camera" effort.

As Im in Malta, I havent seen any UK TV for three days. So, can I assume that the circles didnt make a return as I predicted and that Oneness is still alive and kicking?
