A seemingly American movie channel just got added to the Sky HD EPG on channel 345. It looks like tonight it will be showing Pink Panther Movies.

If you subscribe to the Movies + HD Pack you get this channel automatically, or you can subscribe separately for �5pm.

The DOG is huge, horrid and means I'm not likely to watch the channel sadly...

We've had an (SD) MGM channel on Chorus NTL for years. Not sure how it is making any money since it doesn't screen adverts and is a basic channel, but I wondered why it had never appeared on any other UK / Irish platform until now.

Yes I thought this was strange when I first read it. The UPC/Chorus/NTL digital platform has carried the SD MGM for years now. It's not a great channel, IMHO, but I know my dad loves the classics it shows.
