ITV1 Christmas 2012 presentation

I agree it would make more sense the otherway, though really I don't see why they couldn't just use an extended version of the end shot of the main idents.

Yes it probably was, but that Casio sounding brass, well there's just no need for it.

There is something I like better about seeing the ITV1 logo included within the animation & not just on the top of it.

For those who haven't seen the revised News ident:

Perhaps if it was the other way, the announcement could possibly end before the ITV1 logo comes into frame.

When they made the news ident, I don't understand why they didn't have the camera continuing down the tree slowly, and have the ITV1 logo in different forms in various parts of the tree (like we have seen it on the train on another ident).

I think they've revised all the idents since the first week. The Rovers Return one no longer features The Woolpack, it's been seperated out. There are a few other variants that I don't think were initially seen.

They look like they're all variants, and possibly ITV have made cuts to the clips to merge some together.
Well done to Delicious Digital for the music. It's only after watching these clean versions that I can appreciate how good the music is, especially when it continues to the end.

Absolutely agree - hadn't even really noticed the music on TV but it sounds brilliant on the clips uploaded.

Not sure whether it's been mentioned before, but there doesn't seem to be a version for ITV1 HD.

I wonder if they intend to dispense with the separate ident packages for the SD/HD versions, as they gave up mentioning HD in the announcements about a year ago.

After seeing BBC's abysmal work this year I can appreciate ITV's wonderful idents even more. Great job!

Is that the first time ITV have not used the special news ident before the news?
