ITV win horse racing rights from 2017

Ratings weren't hugely up on C4 - about 650k compared to around 500k for the meeting a year ago but 600k the year before that.

Quality was significantly up on the dying days of C4 Racing though.

Well there was a sixth ident on ITV this morning at 9.25, so yes!

Odd how they kept the ITV ident for ITV4 - the logo just didn't seem right compared to the rest of ITV4's set. And using ITV's music too...

Have itv been using any other horse ident this morning? Has it aired that racing promo? Ill check again in itv4 at 1pm.

Wouldn;t it have made more since to have racing idents to use the same tech as the normal idents with colour pickpockets?

I dont know if STV has a racing ident, we may not know until march. thank you very much xmas pres! So thats 7 main idents. what the chance all 7 turn up on ITV4 over the course of the next few weeks?

Also can anyone confirm there is a Gallop break bumper on itv4 ?

ITV4 are just re-using the ITV break bumpers for the horse racing...

Hopefully the ratings for Kindergarten Cop get reported tomorrow. That is what ITV have deemed more important than launching their weekly Saturday coverage on the main channel.

That said whether the film gets more or less viewers than the racing justifies the decision.
