Unlikely when it was set in Boston, MA (in the US!) - it was a Burrows-Charles-Burrows production in association with Paramount for NBC.

In true 'super anorak' fashion, we stumbled across the entrance where presumably the exterior shots (only ever the titles I think ?) were shot by complete accident, I hadn't even thought to look while we were in Boston. Of course my wife assumed it was just another of my so called 'co incidences'. You can't win. Rolling Eyes

There was also a bit of Saturday Night Live in there -- the Czech Festrunk brothers ("We're two wild and crazy guys!").

There were some exterior shots done there, but only towards the very end of the show's run- like the last couple of seasons (IIRC the first one is Carla stealing a battery from someone else's car, around half way though season 9- several new establishing shots appeared at the same time as well). And even then it was mostly only the opening pre-titles scenes, and only on a handful of episodes. I think the only real one I can remember in the body of an episode itself is where Frasier's standing on a window ledge threatening to jump.

On January 12th, ABC Family changed it's name to Freeform (makes sense since the network stopped airing family programming around 2010ish...)

Here's when ABC Family rebranded to Freeform:

Not gonna lie, the name does sound like a ladies hygiene product. The on-air look is bold though, its what MTV International should have done.

Looks like they still have to keep showing the 700 Club with its religious fundie rantings though.

Some of those early 2000s ABC idents look familiar!

As does some of their 1970s and 80s stuff - in particular the 1977 "Still the One" campaign which was borrowed by Sky nearly thirteen years later.
