Give the guy a break, that's twice he's tried to make a contribution to the forum only to be welcomed in the TV Forum way we've come to expect.

I like it, it's all very Scandinavian isn't it? I don't know much about NRK1 or NRK2 so I can't work out what the idents are trying to say about the channels, and the NRK2 idents are pretty weird! But it's always nice to see some humans doing the continuity. However the best thing about NRK in my opinion is the news (of which the end is seen in one of those videos). The intro works nicely with some great music and a clean title and headlines sequence.

Anyway, all were done by Kemistry, who designed current CNN International graphics.

RTP1 (the first public television channel of Portugal) has debuted a completely new ident on 7.1.2009. It features a supermarket scenario enclosed on each of the bars of the RTP logotype.

This is the full clean version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkh7s7SH1Og&fmt=18

They usually air a shorter version in between programs.

All from Wikipedia:
NRK1 is the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation's (NRK) main channel. The broadcasting company is government owned and is called, in Norwegian, Norsk rikskringkasting. NRK1 was officially launched in 1960, but has had regular programs since 1958. Its news programme is Dagsrevyen.

NRK2 is one of the TV channels of the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK). It was launched in 1996. It has traditionally concentrated on more on cultural and in-depth programmes than its mother channel NRK1 and has also shown drama series, comedies, and news. When not broadcasting regular programmes, it used to show "Svisj", an interactive programme with music videos and SMS chat. With the launch of NRK3 in early September 2007, "Svisj" moved to the new station and NRK2 refocused its programming to focus on news, documentaries, and cultural programs.

NRK3 is a digital TV channel aimed at youth and young adults and produced by the Norwegian public broadcaster NRK. Launched on 3 September 2007, and on air from 19.30 each evening, the channel features such British and American shows as Sugar Rush, Heroes, Third Watch, The Daily Show, and Primeval, as well as Norwegian and Scandinavian youth productions like Topp 20, and Det beste fra Åpen Post. In addition the channel recently started broadcasting the immensely popular Australian soap-opera Neighbours. Late at night, typically after midnight, NRK3 airs Svisj, an interactive programme with music videos and SMS chat.
NRK3 shares its frequency with NRK Super, a children's TV channel that was launched 10:00am CET, 1 December 2007. NRK Super broadcasts between 7.00am and 7pm.

NRK Super is a Norwegian TV & radio channel aimed at children, run by the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. The TV channel is broadcasted on the digital terrestrial network, on the same frequency as NRK3 from 7am to 7pm, and was launched 1 December 2007. The NRK Super radio channel is broadcasted on DAB radio and the internet, and was originally named NRK Barn. It was launched 16 October 2007.

Ha! That's brilliant! Very Happy
BTW, how the short version, break bumper and news countdown would look like?

The short version is nothing more than 5 or 6 seconds of that ident, with the channel musical notes on the last 2 seconds.

The break bumper is the same as the short ident, only with the text "PUBLICIDADE" (Ads) left to the small RTP1 logo.

The news clock hasn't changed since 2006.

RTP has said there will be more RTP1 idents in the near future.

It would funny if some comedians make a spoof with old RTP logo and the downfall of Estado Novo? (If you feel offended, PM me, then I'll remove this message.)

Lol, that's no problem. It's a funny idea, and a good metaphor.

But one thing is sure: continuity presentation must return if RTP1 wants to impress its viewership. Nowadays it seems that the RTP channels are run by nothing more than a computer with a playlist.

I miss RTP1 from the nineties: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZKbc9Dybpq4&fmt=18

And how RTP Acores, Madeira, Internacional, Africa and Memoria would look like, as well as trailers of RTP1 shows?

Loving the theme music on those idents... on a non presentation related note as I've never been to Portugal I always assumed (wrongly) that their language would be close to that of Spain's - it sounds almost eastern European to me...
