Did Plus even have any sort of warning saying it was going?

Nope, it was an 11th Hour deal, so ths staff turning up for work yesterday morning probably didn't know a thing that by the end of the day the channel would be dead as the dodo.

Apparently the signal just cut off at 4.30pm in the middle of the ad break for Pie In The Sky.

I don't think anyone yesterday morning would have expected that it would be gone. Sad

Even though (Granada) Plus wasn't a "major" station (certainly not compared to "the main five channels", or even something like, say, Sky One etc), but even so, one would expect a television station , of all things, (no matter how minor) to close "properly", including advance warning etc.

I assume Men & Motors has gone too??????

It's a bit ironic that their website has the late Tommy Cooper on the front page. His life was cut off whilst in the middle of a performance too!!

Where on earth did you get the idea that UKTV G2 could be closing?

How did Granada Plus close?

Did they let the running programme end, or just pull the plug? What has happened to the advertisers, do they get a credit, or compensating air-time on ITV-3?
