Tbf, I don't think ITV would release any such details in a press release.

re itv press release :Has Lorraine been extended to 9.30 ?

Are they allowed to do that with the franchise ending at 9:25? The Sky EPG still shows it ending at the usual time so I doubt it's been extended, presumably just a mistake in the press release.

I don't see why not, there have been programmes straddling the 9:25 junction over the years. I don't really see why STV would object, there's no ad breaks involved

Seems a strange way of promoting a show to me.

"Ugh, look at him. God, we hate him so much. ... So watch him live every morning from 6am on ITV."

I think it's a good way of marketing him and the programme. ITV know people think he's a controversial and "Marmite" character, and that people aren't afraid to say their opinion on him. In a way I think they're taking the pee pee out of Marjorie from Exmouth and the likes that comment "hate Pierce on gmtv everymorning much prefer ben and kate theyre so much better im going back to bbc now until you bring them back"... yet they still watch and take time to comment everyday.

Well given Piers' reputation, they're playing into it.
