Anybody remeber Get your Own Back?
So good.
What was your favourite era?
What have the adults worn on the gunk dunk, through the years?

I remember it, it weren't bad for it's time. Someone in my year at secondary school was on it & won, but I don't remember here ever wearing the coat at school Laughing

Wonder what Dave Benson-Phillips is up to these days? He used to be on loads of things back then.

I believe he tours universities every once in a while nowadays, gunging freshers.

I think they repeated the 2001 - 3 (last) series on the CBBC Channel sometime ago.

Something I can't believe is how old the show is! I used to love it as a kid but watching it now at 17, I find it hard to sit down at watch. Having said that, I see myself repeating the first minute or so to hear that kick ass theme tune.

It still is being aired, spotted it yesterday in the early afternoon, dated 2001.
These days Dave-Benson Philips seems to be a regular face on Playhouse Disney.

What was the name of that puppet he used to have on Playbus? Anyone else remember that or is it just me?

Oh yeah! Can't for the life of me remember the name.

I remember the really old version of Get Your Own Back which had a completely different set and a bit of a different format. I think it changed to the more well-known version about 1995. I never really remember it ending, it was still there in 2001 but seems to have always been repeated so it's never really gone away.

The puppet in question was called Jester.

The last ever episode was a celebrity special between Dick and Dom, with Dick getting dunked at the end. The format went wrong when they introduced Lisa Brockwell to the show, I never really got why she was actually there in the first place.

I'm guessing she was going to take over the show so Dave could concentrate on other projects but alas it wasn't to be.

Chester! Thats him. And also Lizzie who used to sing on the swing. I miss my childhood. Confused
