Looking back via http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-18960862 the sticker falls off almost as soon as he started running with the torch. As already mentioned the differences in Lola's tan and the daylight were rather noticeable though.

And Billy's sticker had suddenly vanished as soon as he entered McDon...McClunkeys.

Makes you wonder what if they'd been having torrential rain or something come the broadcast, would have matched up even less.
All in all a big success I'd say. Although they probably had it slightly easier than last time given that the event was being covered on TV so any visible cameras not necessarily too problematic (in fact they kept dropping that into the script so that was probably to cover themselves).

EastEnders are having live style subtitles this evening for some reason. They don't appear to be live because they are technically perfect, but I have spotted a couple of oddities that wouldn't happen with regularly prepared subtitles. When Cora said the flowers were "for Lola" the subtitles said "from someone else".
I wonder if there was a late edit in this episode based on something that happened or didn't happen in the live segment last night. The AD seems normal.

Yes, and despite everything being correctly spelt, there were a few other mistakes. Also, there were no subtitles until at least half way through the programme.
Turn Back Time has the same type of subtitles too. I didn't see what Holby City had.

EastEnders to mention TeamGB's success at Olympic Super Saturday in tomorrows episode. Some last minute filming insert tomorrow, allegedly.
Perhaps Jean will cook a Sausage Surprise to toast the Male Rowing Team??? LOL.

And it is Indeed Jean who'll deliver the contemporary content this evening. But will it be a sausage surprise??

Oh wow. That was a bit cringey. 10 out of 10 for effort but seemed a bit like trying to shoe-horn as many results as they could, didn't seem like natural conversation at all...

Jesus that was dreadful. Even for EastEnders that was clunky and stilted.
I'm surprised they didn't cap off the scene with, "after all... regular exercise could be a considerable factor in reducing the risk of heart disease...".
Rubbish. They shouldn't have bothered.

It reminded me of Russell T Davies' catch-all phrase for clunky scene-setting dialogue that you'd never say in real life: "Happy wedding day sis!"
