Channel 4 New Usain Bolt Ident

New ident coming up featuring Usain Bolt for the IAAF World Athletics Championships:

This will be the 23rd ident from the 3D logo look.

Nice ident, and the 4 isn't too subtle like it has been on the last few where it's hard to find.

Channel 4 by far have the best ident set which hasn't aged since the start in 2004.

Really loving this.

Also on the website it says "This is the first 4 ident to star a human being..." I don't think so, but it is the first ident to star a celebrity and making up the logo.

A nice upbeat ident too.

I think it means the first person to actually form part of the logo.

And I'm guessing that 9pm junction was it's first showing?

Surprising they played out a short version, not even a comment from the announcer.

As if there haven't been enough previews on the web already, here's the one broadcast tonight

They go and ruin it by talking over it. And considering C4 grabbing the World Athletics Championships hardly grabbed the headlines in the way for example the F1 deals did I don't think many casual viewers would make the connection.

I like that ident and as you say you can actually see the '4' I still think the '4' in the Blackpool & Junkyard idents have not been done properly and they've left out a piece! But maybe that's just me.
