I don't know what the original swear word was but when they apologised this happened: https://www.thesun.co.uk/tvandshowbiz/2788734/sunday-brunch-viewers-left-in-hysterics-as-guest-accidentally-swears-live-on-air-after-hosts-are-forced-to-apologise-for-bad-language/

Of course, at the end of Catsdown on Friday, the announcer said "Up next, it's The Last Leg with Russell Brand live. Ooh, risky!"

So risky, he was live on The One Show last week.

Think it's fair to say that he has more room to talk about things on a later show like The Last Leg than on The One Show though. Especially when The One Show barely gives its guests five seconds to talk about something before moving on.

So interesting the uploader felt the need to repeat it, but there's somebody who isn't Russell surely claiming her place on the next It'll Be Alright on the Night...

Well, given the relative risks of having Russell Brand live on teatime BBC1 and post-watershed C4, I know which one I think is the bigger risk.

He's been all over live TV and radio this week. He's really not that big a live risk these days and really never was. It was probably a opportunity to make The Last Leg sound more dangerous than it actually is.... by referencing "sachsgate" which happened 8 years ago (and was prerecorded). TLL might be live but it's not exactly unpredictable or edgy. You pretty much know exactly what you're getting. Even with Russel Brand.

Though oddly The Last Leg used the 'c-word' twice on Friday and both were intentional and neither from Russell Brand (one was written and one on a video clip)

Came across these continuity links...

I guess no one on here clocked, very amusing. Laughing

I've always liked E4's approach to its continuity compared to other yoof-orientated channels. Light hearted and genuinely funny without being painfully patronising... I'm only referring to the first two clips, of course.

Indeed, Channel 4 definitely has the best continuity teams. It's never boring and they always try to livening up a bit

Even little things with menus:

Those election night announcements are a stroke of genius Laughing

They really do throw BBC1's cringeworthily lame attempts at humour in continuity announcements into the shade.

Not that BBC1 could ever skirt near even such low levels of controversy.
