Isn't the live feed the main reason the show exists?

I mean, look at the American version. It's run on a shoe-string budget over the summer outside of any ratings period. And yet, they can still afford a live feed.

As can the show in every other bloody country around the world.

I'd say the live stream is the soul of the show - and it's always been it's first line of defence when criticism over editing is thrown it's way.

Live feed? half the time there sleeping or doing nothing then if any thing good comes alone there cut to some birds noise!

during peak time e4 is filled with repeats. seems like a waste of time

I fail to see how Ch4 reviving Celeb BB in the first place is an indication of them wanting rid of the franchise?

Surely if that were true they wouldn't have brought it back? or at least shunted it to E4.

There is no live feed on Indian BB

The irony of all of this is most of the people who are complaining about it complain when the live feed is on saying how there is too much bird noise, cutting away and sound dips mid conversation

I know a Celeb BB a couple of years ago (the one with Barrymore and GG?) didn't have coverage on the red button and look the franchise is still going!

I can't say I'm too miffed. The highlights show will suffice. Certainly don't think it warrants the overreaction it's received over on Digital Spy, with people orchestrating mass complaints to Channel 4.

I agree. If im watching Big Brother then id usually only watch the daily highlights show anyway - an hour a day is enough!

Exactly. Perhaps when the show was in its heyday I would watch the live feed for the pure novelty of it (just because you can) but that soon wore off. These days I tend not to watch the live feed unless there is nothing else on when I'm in bed, providing something interesting is happening. I'd also be very surprised if most of the people complaining actually watch the live feed for hours on end, and if they are I'd be very worried!
