Don't know if anyone saw this, but just happened to be watching the CBBC Channel (yes, I know I'm 18 but it was the only good thing on!) At about 17:50 just as there is a live pop act in the studio, we loose pictures (apart from the CBBC DOG and XChange contact details) but the sound is still there... a couple of minutes later, we switch to the blue "Whoops!" caption and silence (CBBC DOG is still present, Xchange contact details have gone), then after a few minutes we get a brief shot from one of the studios (think it was the XChange studio) and then Even Stevens starts...
I think there were a few problems during Even Stevens as well...

An apology after Even Stevens for the earlier problems on XChange and we are told we can see the pop act that were on yesterday this morning.

Any idea what happened?

A fault in the CBBC studio meant there was no vision reaching Presentation.

Just as the pop act (VS) started MSA got in touch with TC2 to say they just had black coming from us.

VS's performance was played out on the 7.30am morning show today...

Thanks for that, Aston... knew you'd have the answer! Just one more quick question... what's MSA?
