There are still people who watch it. If my Mother wasn't among them I'd say they must be braindead, given the hideous MTV production style which crept in in the last C4 series.

Times change WillPS, it's just a more modern style.
People just can't seem to accept that Big Brother is still popular. I'm by no means a fan but I've watched more of it since it moved to Channel 5 than I ever did when it was on Channel 4. 5 don't take the show too seriously - it's just a bit of a laugh and their 'celebrity' editions have been quite fun.

It became more 'mtv' like when It moved to channel 5 , so I have to disagree , anywho it was much better on channel 4. (imo)

This is partly why I can't bear it anymore. The constant Americanisation of it, the butchered editing, incidental music... it was never what Big Brother was about.

No this year for the theme 'Secrets and Lies' they seem to be following the Australian route, as their theme last year was Secrets and Lies after Channel 9 revived it. And it's still being held at Dreamworld in the Gold Coast....

You've missed his point. Which I don't really agree is a problem, but at least I get his point.
When people say "going down the American route" they mean the overall production style. Not in terms of format.

This decorative Channel 5 sign rather reminds me of the Channel 4 logo seen on Sunday Brunch and Alan Carr's New Year Spectacular.

I like it and think that it would look quite nice on the BBBOTS set. That's presuming we'll see a new one this year with the changes and I read on a Big Brother fan site that we'll see a new set for the main show this year.
Also Rylan has tweeted that he and BBBOTS co-host AJ Odudu were filming some new 'idents', presuming he meant idents, it looks like we'll see a return of the presenters in the idents.
Here they are, presumably on the set of the filming of the idents:
