Breakfast viewing has needed The Big Breakfast back now for a long time to be fair, regardless of whether it happens or not. It's replacement called RI:SE was dire, and now all we have is either standard news, or reruns of American sitcoms. Having TBB back would be a breath of fresh air in the breakfast lineup, and if Channel 5 have made Big Brother work as of late, then this could also be a success.
However, and apologies if this has already been discussed, hasn't the cottage been converted back into a normal house and sold since the show ended? And if so, how do they plan on returning back there like the stories have suggested?

It's been converted, but has been hired out as a location for filming for a few things over the years. I think though one stumbling block being forgotten amongst all this talk is although the house survived the Olympics turning up next door, all the production offices behind the house didn't.

Johnny Vaughan will be on The One Show this evening, he is there to promote some programme on the Hitler channel but I'm sure he will be asked about The Big Breakfast too since he hasn't really done anything of note since. Maybe they will even mention this nonsense revival story.
