Excellent job Llandaff - though it's not a new idea, they did this a few years ago in the dancers era ISTR... can't remember what they won though ...

IIRC Ireland did this when they won a football match against England one-nil. The BBC ONE box appeared as normal, but it had an Irish colour scheme. On the other of the screen, directly opposite the ONE box, was a box with the colour scheme of the English flag reading "NIL". Geddit? "ONE"-"NIL".... oh...

The coloured circle is an especially nice touch. Good effort! Smile

It seems BBC Wales have done it again - this Triple Crown variation was shown before Diagnosis Murder at 1pm.

(Sorry about the poor quality of the video and image size!)

A fantastic effort - a stroke of genius.

I did spot this last night and wondered why the 'WON' was in a fruit machine-type crown logo! It all makes sense now!

It's a shame that they havent made one for Cardiff going through to the FA Cup at Wembley!

Saw a pretty messed up junction just now on BBC1 Wales.

Every single trail was followed by at least 5 seconds of black screen and no sound. The short Football ident then was left to play through with clean audio.

Once the ident reached the end, cut to a completely static screen with logo on the standard red background - only then does the announcer come in and let us know it is time for a news summary!

I think there's a possibility that the Llandaffia are working from temporary accomodation, with new and different equipment this week.

Just a possibility; I'd hate to spread rumours!

And more junction oddities just spotted - the Comic Relief Does The Apprentice trail was played out - two times in a row!

The announcer responded to this over the short Space symbol - "Sometimes we tell you things twice, don't we!"

And, to continue the theme, there's just been a "Grand Slam Wales" ident into I'd Do Anything on BBC One Wales.
