Does anyone know when New York Week & Tube Night will be on at all?

New York week has been on already, it was the week before 1997 week. As for Tube night, no idea when thats on?

Balls, they didn't make it clear in the ad last night, all they said was "This March on BBC4...." Sad

Tube Night is this Sunday, some interesting (if slightly geeky!) stuff on.

Thanks Very Happy I'm not a trainspotter (I hate the BR line that I have to use) but quite interested in seeing this about the tube

I didn't realise there were two follow-up programmes a year later.

Doesn't the secretary (?) look like Jamie Lee Curtis in a Fish Called Wanda?! Laughing

Anyway...

I take it everyone missed the Tomorrow's World programme from 1997? I think it was the final year to be hosted by Howard Stableford (where is he nowadays?) and using the baby titles.

I can understand why they later rebranded it with Peter Snow and Philippa Forrester. That particular programme took an in-depth analysis into DNA cloning (Dolly the Sheep etc) and the possibility of GM Foods - however imo something seemed far too bland and over informative for that timeslot.
