I don't understand why ITV regions don't invest in two trees. The sets are symetrical, the sofas and screens match each side, yet they usually just have one tree, maybe I'm just overly Christmas, but I'd add two.
Is two trees in a news studio really appropriate? It's not GMTV or a santa's grotto!
Also, I know Calendar always film from one side (as shown in the caps above), so they only have one corner on screen. I don't know if the other regions do this
Granada had a Christmas Tree this morning during GMTV, but not during Granada Reports, which seemed to have a revised format, but that may have been because of the main story.
