Interesting the Central connection... Kate Fisher presented Central Tonight with Bob Warman this evening (as a one off). She did a good job too. Apparently she is back presenting the TT&B weekend bulletins this weekend.

According to Twitter users, a group of kids invaded her broadcast from Sid James' Park and during a link to a report about 'specially talented kids' she mused 'unlike these who have special needs'.

It was hardly an invasion, they were a couple of kids jumping around behind her (like there is every time they do an OB from St James Park) before she came out with her 'special needs' comment. Very unprofessional.

I note the BBC didn't put that edition onto iPlayer.

Not news but does anyone remember if Tyne Tees ever had an advertising sub region from Chatton?

Not AFAIK - Chatton's always been a part of the North sub-region for both news and adverts.

Does / Did Tyne Tees have more than 2 sub-regions for advertising?
