Thought we hadn't see her for a while - although sure she's done some BBC national radio shifts recently.

Talking of the BBC Weather - where are we with the new none-Met Office contract?

It's been over a year since news of a change in data suppliers, so thought we'd be with the new suppliers by now - or was something agreed to continue, with the Met Office, and news of it smuggled out without anyone noticing?

Still showing on national and regions weather "in association with The Met Office" so no change yet.

A report from the FT last year says the new deals are meant to start in October this year.

The Guardian are reporting today that the new provider commences in June 2017
