New Look Westcountry Live

Well the new set has been revealed tonight and certainly doesn't look like the standard ITV News format. No blue or yellow squares in sight (except on the astons and the plasma screens).

So maybe we could be looking forward to a re-design of all ITV News programmes in line with ITV 1/2/3

Its the same as the rest of the ITV Regional Sets!

My mistake then. I thought all the others emphasised the blue & yellow alot more.

They've just done a nice feature showing timelapse of the change last week (while they were presenting from Exeter). At least they explained how they managed to fit a back-projection screen into such a small studio.

I hope someone managed to capture it and will upload it

Quite spacious and there does appear to be less yellow lighting effects than the other generic sets.
so this means that Border,CN South,Anglia and Wales News await the new look, maybee in time for the revamp?

They said that the studio was only 11m x 7m (quite small really). I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that this set is slightly less generic than the others.

Am I missing something? In the clip you provide (thanks) there seems to be a jump-cut right before they talk about the projector screen. One of the images shown above didn't appear in the clip either.
