I'm hoping we see something similar to Nicky's mock.
- Which, by the way, is superb!

I really like that, 2008 meets 2013, that would work!

If the rebrand is anywhere near Nicky's mock, I'll be happy. It's one of my favourite mocks on TVF ever and would tie in with the ITV News brand so well whilst giving News At Ten its own distinctive style.

Now all they need to do is replace the format with the old News at Ten format and they could be onto a winner.

Next week - as in this week coming? Or the following week? Any other news on the new set and titles?

There's an article in this week's Radio Times about the competition at ten between BBC and ITV which says there's a "new on-air look due in spring". If anyone's interested in reading the full article, there's a 30 day free trial in the digital edition app (iTunes/iOS).

Tried to find the article, its by The Times meaning its inaccessible for those without a paid subscription.

I heard that they're taking inspiration from the latest, and therefore best, TV rebrand.

The relevant paragraph of The Times story "Tom Bradby: Totty at Ten", published today, is this:

Quote:
Pick your explanations, lofty or low, but the consensus is that ITV News at Ten’s “soft” relaunch has gone rather well. This month the reset hardens with the arrival on Monday of a star signing, the BBC’s former economics editor Robert Peston, who assumes Bradby’s old role of political editor. The week after, a new title sequence and set are revealed. After years of tacit surrender before the BBC’s big guns, Bradby’s bosses have declared war at ten.

People should note the cover photo of Peston's Facebook page - implies there won't be HUGE changes to the title sequence.

It doesn't imply anything!

Is he down as Robert Preston; I cannot find him?
