Surprised this didn't get a mention on here but there has been a bit of a change for CNBC as of this week - particularly on Worldwide Exchange (an hour of which I'm having to watch for work this week!).

The programme is now entirely anchored from London from a new look studio with the presenters being Ross Westgate and Kelly Evans.

What I've always wanted to know is, when they are showing US Squawk Box or Squawk On The Street, why on earth does CNBC Europe cover up the sponsors that US CNBC show during the programmes?

Because they're sponsorship for the American audience - they wouldn't be relevant to viewers here, and probably not within Ofcom rules. Even if those 2 weren't the case, if the advertiser has only paid for the US then why should they show them here for free?

Very surprised that they have dropped the American and Asian anchors for Worldwide Exchange. That was one of the defining features of the programme. Now I'm sure American viewers will be wondering why they are getting a London show daily.

I'm not shore but I believe this showing of pictures behind the markets update is also a new change.

Well they haven't really dropped the American anchor as Kelly Evans is American, but she presents from London alongside Ross, so it's just the Asian anchors who have been dropped really.

Yep it is, and its much nicer! Same music though, but I quite like it (even though its badly looped).

That will be one of the only times I can comment on pres from this channel, as I only watch it when it plays out NBC News each night. Laughing
