Noticed in the last few weeks that long standing Central East sports presenter Dennis Coath has jumped from Central East to West. At West though he seems to have taken over as the 'lighter news' reporter from Jonathan Ray.
Apparently according to ITV Central the whole of Central is getting a relaunch when the new Central News studios open.
There will be new regional idents with "ITV1 Central" instead of the "ITV1 for Central England" legend and the signage at Central Court will be all ITV Central instead of Carlton.
The new Central News sets will be "exciting" said one of the girls at Central News!

what i want to know is where have all the central news east presenters gone the ones who do the lunchtime and late bulletins for east are awful bland and dont smile another kick in the teeth for east i am not looking forward to watching central news in 3 weeks when i return

Yeah I like her, but ive seen Llewella onscreen for longer, and I like her the most, at least she can get through a full sentence without making a mistake!
Joanne Mailin is the worst newsreader - period.
She has the most irritating accent, wears horrific clothes, and is always interrupting the programme with pointless small talk. For example: "Yeah, my gran used to live in one of them houses - back in the old days".
She should be kicked out as soon as possible.

well she has got to be much better than anybody at Central News South! Nobody can be more worse than the terrible Wesley Smith.
On the subject of rubbish at Central News West, Dan Barton (editor) should also go. He has basically transformed Central News West into tabloid rubbish.
I say return John Bolieau!
She is the only decent presenter other than Bob that we have to!
