Why is Kay Burley wearing sunglasses at a funeral?

To hide tears or red eyes?
What a grubby question.

He was a nice chap - but a terrible presenter.
In later years he went for the cheap vote - films and the like and he only had the gravitas for about 18 months before he sold his soul.
But as a human being, top-notch.

But not really the best epitaph for someone who might be delivering the news of Her Majesty passing away,
I really loathe this culture of the newsreader as performing clown.
Please stop it now.

He was an absolutely superb presenter - one of the very best - especially when partnered with Anna Botting or Viv Creegor. I actually used to look forward to watching Live At Five or Sky News At Ten in those great days.

I didn't think he was your type? Not having boobs and being over 25 and all.

I just want newsreaders to read the news and not become entertainers.
It's like watching Bill Turnbull on BBC Breakfast trying to convince people he has got a personality.
Painful to watch at times.
Anyway,I'm sure some of the regulars on Metropol will have a few things to say about this.
