There was a Saturday news special on BBC2 a couple of months ago after the EU Referendum was announced - I think the BBC1 bulletin was early and couldn't be extended due to sport. Otherwise it has happened during Wimbledon occasionally. In terms of scheduled news bulletins, there was Weekend 24 until 2005/2006 on Saturday mornings after Breakfast
BBC news will be on BBC two Scotland Today, as there is no room on BBC one Scotland. This must be the first time BBC two had actually bulletin in years?
Aside from every weekday from 11 for the past 2 years.
Ben Bland presenting WBR on BBC World News. A first?
Also yesterday, I noticed Susannah Streeter presented WBR at 11.30 BST, but then Victoria Fritz did the business bulletins during GMT half an hour later.

He's done it before. According to his Twitter he's doing Business Live next week.
Checking iPlayer, Victoria Fritz covered for Sally Bundock on Monday on WBR/BL. Ben was in on Monday and Tuesday on BL AM and the NC and Rachel Horne covered for Ben this morning in what I think is her first Biz live?
Be interesting to see Ben Bland doing Business Live. He's very good considering he's still fairly inexperienced. Would like to see him do some shifts on the News Channel.

Rachel Horne presented the two World News only bank holiday editions of Business Live. One with Jamie Robertson the other with Sally Bundock.
At least Aaron was back this morning, but not on GMT where Susannah Streeter was covering. Victoria Fritz was sent up to Salford to cover for Steph on Breakfast. I wouldn't be surprised if she's covering Ben's shift tomorrow unless another of the biz team is up there.
