Well now I've never known HTV to share a report with any other region [being a rather clearly-defined and well-covered news area], but Andy Bonner's tortoise story from yesterday's GR appeared this evening on Wales Tonight, complete with re-voiced sign off.

I only tuned into Granada yesterday to see if they covered the Wales smoking ban [which they didn't]. Which is rather strange if you accept the viewership/association with the northeast [and the tortoise story itself concerned Anglesey].
Mind you they seemed only to have one news item yesterday, about Iran [?], and the rest was fluff.

SO
Yes they did. Ann O'conner did a report just before the bit on the Faulklands. Hardly fluff.

Granada Reports has been nominated for a BAFTA for their Cockling Tragedy special.
Lucy and Tony announced its the first regional news programme to make the BAFTAs.
On the very rare time I watch Granada, I turn off when they read the email address "granada.reports@itv.com, thats granada.reports@itv. com". HOW IRRITATING!

Well done Granada on the Bafta! Shows that the regions are still crucial to itv.
Granada Reports:Morecambe Bay covered the plight of the Chinese cockle-pickers and was honoured in News Coverage over the BBC Ten O’Clock News, Channel 4 News and the ITV Evening News - the first time a regional news programme has been recognised in this category.

Seeing as Elaine now works for the other side, I imagine Granada will go to town on the fact they won it without going into much detail about who the reporter was!
