I am touching up a studio mock and graphics will be coming, hopefully both better than before!

One question, for the 7:00 - 8:35 part of the show, what colour should the walls be, if possible with a RGB value?

Not sure on the colouring for the walls and lightboxes for TODAY, so any tips would help!

Hmm...so you are starting a mock thread, without a mock to show? And then asking people how to do the mock when they have nothing to judge on?

Right. My suggestion is 255-20-147.

I have did the mock and the walls look a bit too orange with the RGB at 233-178-148. Any serious suggestions?

Can we see the mock that you 'have did'?

Same old, same old. I'm not prepared to retread old ground *again*, Dan and nor, I doubt, will anyone else.

There seems to be a worrying trend in studio mocks on this forum at the moment.

It took me a long time to get my skills on Sketchup up to a decent level - this reminds me of some of the earlier stuff I did as personal projects. Try and bring your skills up to a higher level before presenting this sort of stuff to TV forum - you've been told this many many times before! The mock is very basic, lots of objects copied from 3D warehouse, scaling is well off. I'm sure you know the standard is set to a high level here.

What this mock is missing the most is any sort of description of what the multitude of areas would be used for. Just how big is this studio? Did you take the advice you were given in earlier threads and base this on a real life space, or is it just a blank canvas?

Well, it's that old ponderable cropping up again isn't it - just why do these people repeatedly post mocks knowing the negative response they'll generate? What are they getting out of it?

Our friend Dan has shown no signs of improvement despite the advice offered to him in good faith. And yet he continues to pop up every month or so offering more of the same, or worse. Does he erase the memory of the last outing from his brain? Does he mistakenly believe he is improving?

I find the latter difficult to believe. Surely at this point, Dan, your work would be better off living on your hard drive (or a blog), saving you the time and effort expended on rendering and uploading images for forum presentation, only for them to be received so negatively?

Because if you're not posting for the feedback, what are you posting for?
